Insightful visualizations and dissemination of scientific information helps identify points of action. Parameters can be prioritized to make local self-governance plans and optimum resource management. Once a particular village or a panchayat is selected, the tool would generate a composite profile using various data sources like Census of India 2011,Primary Census Abstract, Census of India 2001, Primary Census Abstract, Amenities-Rural, India Meteorological Department (IMD), Agriculture Census – DACNET, International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and more.
In order to improve planning, the tool can further be updated with more parameters from diverse datasets, and contribute towards the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) exercise.
